Yesterday was Axminster and tool station

A jsp mask and filters ,thought it was about time for a proper mask rather than throw away's
5 ltr of makita chainsaw chain oil £5 and some wood screws on offer £1 per box ( 100 ) 4 x 40's a common size for me I'll try them in some different timbers if they are any good I'll get more and

from tool station ( in the previous pic ) four bags of M6 x 50 bolts 49p a bag some cheapy hole saws and pilot drills , mine get rammed through all sorts and these last just as well as expensive and finally a bit of electrical flex and lamp holder for me lamp project ( not from tool station ).

I bought the Knipex long needle nose pliers thinking they might come in handy sometimes, turns out they're handy all the time. So handy in-fact I'm tempted to buy the bent ones too.

I love my Knipex long needle-nose pliers. They're very handy in tons of situations---so much so that I'm thinking about getting a double-jointed, bent-nose Crescent-brand variation to complement them. The double joints can have some advantages in very tight spaces:

I bought a set of long nose ones from Costco about 15 years ago...they included straights and crescent. I think the set was £10...i've had loads of use out of them...they're really very handy indeed. I should really buy a descent set if them!

Finally bought the regulators

They are both Harris 801 regulators
120 euros in total.
Next order will be oxy-propane 6mm twin hose and all 4 flashback arrestors .
I'm slowly completing my oxy-propane torch set (Harris 43-2 + Harris 49)

I'm really concerned for the hedgehogs, they were more than a twice weekly occurence, but I've not had the dogs find one in over a month, has the warm winter done something ? Have they learnt to avoid the garden ? Really missing my regular hedgehog cuddling sessions. Bit worried frankly, miss my cuddly hedgehogs.

My Dad, long since retired from farming decided during lockdown he wanted to breed chickens, encouraged by my BIL. He had pairs of Light Sussex, Speckled Sussex & Silver laced Wyandotte. He had a bad run which produced mostly cocks, then lockdown finished, nobody wanted chickens anymore & he was left with a load of fowl! The hens were kept for laying, a pine marten killed a few & we had 7 extra roosters left. Our neighbour across the field breeds game fowl so you can imagine the racket just before dawn when the roosters start calling each other!

A few months ago he decided the cost of feeding them was too much, tried to give them away for free but no takers. Neither me or my dad could bring ourselves to dispatch them so the BIL got the task!

There are only 3 roosters now so the dawn chorus is a lot quieter!

Nope
Argon and argon mix have female threads .
And do exist adapter nipples which threads into the valve giving us a male thread to use CO2 regulators .

Nitrogen has male threads
Acetylene comes in two cylinder types.
One has no threads at all , and it requires a regulator similar to din scuba bottles.

And one with female threads

And exit even with male threads on the valve so we have adapters

some HFT multi strike in 2.4's had them in me watch list on evil bay £20 a pack which I thought was pretty cheap and then got a seller offer of
£12.89 for a pack of ten delivered ,well you can't say no to that can you .

I have the same drill floor mounted...in the low gear i have had an inch n half bit in it and it chomps through without complaint.
