I am a bit peed off as the M8 die is poo! It has been ground/cut incorrectly, does not cut and no hope of it cutting. Have not tried the others yet. Some Amazons.. M6/M8/M10 fine 0.5mm pitch tap and dies

Intend to try the diamond wheels on chainsaw sharpener, as the original wheel looked quite coarse grit, tho these are too.
They're not LH by, any chance?
No might about it . . .If they are Chinese amazon specials, they might not be left, right, 0.5 or even M8....

Remember this thread (no pun intended) when someone complains Presto etc is no longer . . . it's a housing estate/Tesco . . .
My point entirely!I hate to say it, but Presto are owned by Guangzhou Suncraft International Corp.
All of their craft-pro line are Chinese. The rest of it I'm not certain - but last time I spoke to them I got the distinct impression the only thing in sheffield is the office and a warehouse - I believe they demolished most of the works in 2009.
Yes,a capable mc from the good old days,@northwest has an improved one even,I’ll get more photos for you when I extract said staircase, covering 50m sq of space!Never seen a folder like that before looks interesting. Any photos?
This arrived today £25 on eBay. There’s a few more on there I think. Just tried it on my lathe motor and it read 1460 rpm so not too far wrong . Got it for playing around with my motorbike and thought it would be interesting to play around with it on the lathe. There’s a wheel attachment so you can read surface speed in FPM.

Yep, though I might be!Same model as mine I use it for checking the speed on my stationary engines, it looks like you're missing the extension shaft?

Bunsens typically use natural gas. Get it plumbed into the houseI need that space for standing in! It's not a lack of floor area that's the issue, it's floor perimeter, it really needs to go against the wall, and there's no more wall left.
That's not all I acquired today though, I also got a crate of vintage lab crap, including a big burner which definitely has too big an orifice to be used with propane...
There's a couple of smaller ones behind it which are just as bad.
