Nothing really wrong with it. I quite like making things up like that from bits and pieces that are to hand.

Bought this recently, only collected it Friday.
It's a Dewalt/B&D radial arm saw. It's a beast, that's a 6'x4' trailer it's sitting in & it weighs a lot. It was loaded with a forklift, engine hoist will be needed for unloading!
It has a 3kw/4HP motor, table is 33"x27", blade lifts to 8" from table, will cross cut 22" wide. There's a 12" blade fitted but I reckon it will take a 14 or 15" blade.
The downside is that it's 3 phase but I think it's a good candidate for using capacitors for supplying a 3rd phase on 240v single phase.
Unsure of model no as there's no plate on it, any suggestions?

The plane, AKA a lump of rust and wood.
But, through Men In Sheds, it has bean given a new lease of life.
Due to insurance issues a lot of work was done at my house.
Striped down.
The picture does not really show how bad the rust was. Oddly the chrome on the cap was in reasonable condition.
The rust removed, blade re ground and sharpened.
The wooden handles were cleaned up and the old finish removed.
The paint on the body and frog was in good condition, so only a "T cut" was done to it.
Almost done, the wooden parts now waxed. They have a nice feel to them.
Done.
The Shed members involved now have a understanding on small restorations.
Blade sharpening, wood finishing, de rusting and TYA Coffee.
Not sure about the brake or riving knife, definitely no anti-kickback bar.
Not really sure what I'm doing with this atm. It's probably overkill for my needs, I've a table saw & a sliding compound mitre saw that does all I need to & are a lot more portable than this. I'll get everything freed up & working, get the motor running & go from there. I got it very cheaply so I should turn a healthy profit if I sell it.

Well it's a Sunday, so that means the day must be started as the Lord intended, with a car boot sale.
Managed to find these two, Facom 36" Stilsons that are brand new, still have the paint on the teeth, and a nice 26" Elora adjustable, he had a couple of other big ones too Bahco adjustable and Record stilsons, but there's only so many big spanners you need.

Not technically acquired today as i picked up Friday,
The new Dean Smith & Grace project, its old and has a few issues but its solid weighing in at over 1500Kg.
I will start a rebuild and repair thread soon.

Today I acquired this set of oxy cutting. Bottles hoses ect..didn't cost me anything. And them bottles are dam heavy..will need new hoses ect but happy days..

Don't use a dry grinder on the blade, use an oil stone. takes longer. But get a better finish.

I found a Holden yellow touch up pen the other day. Thought it was a bit underwhelming to post in the TIA thread though!

Dont suppose you fancy selling any of them do you? I need some new runners for my Blue Point tool trolley, there might be some the right size there.
