I picked up a 1.5KW VFD the other day, there was a discussion going on about single to 3 phase devices so I got one at £70 off ebay.

Just had chance to try it today with the 3 phase motor I got off eSCHEn, all working well after a play with the settings.

Hope to use it on my Harrison Milling machine rather then move around the home made rotary I presently use. Should be a space saver.

4 Teng Sockets for £3.96 (14,16,17 and 21mm) . Not quite new but couldn't leave them there for someone to take home and abuse. The wife was amazed I spotted them, They were in a cup, at the back of shelf about 2ft off the ground and I spotted them walking past without a care in the world.

Not really today but just a few days ago, a ck Flex loc torch (water cooled) without cables. I will use the shorter ones (4m) that I replaced with 8m on my CK 20.
I really saw no need to buy a complete torch having a set of cables laying in storage. This guys near here that sell CK at great prices were an amazing find!
I will assemble the torch tomorrow and give it a try

I have a centre pce from old hydraulic puller in shed I think from a Sykes if l have yours for cost of postage.

Never thought of that, it could be hydraulic. I would certainly be interested in what you've got.

Edit, I've looked it up and it takes an 8 tonne hydraulic unit.

They all work.
The drill only has one battery, but Bristol batteries do good aftermarket replacements.
The gas set up is identical to one I already have, but I wasn't leaving it behind.
The neighbours will not be missed.

Every time I pass a skip & peer in, I get earache from my wife ...... But some of these thing you just have to do.

Not today, but Saturday, I spent most of it in the company of eSCHEn and his lovely partner purchasing a Mighty Mig UK Tig Welder. Wasted 5 hours chatting away, eating one of the best Sausage & Egg bapps I've had in a while, drinking coffee and getting some tips from a spot on chap.

I've added it to the pile of bits I need to find a home for, which included 12no 3mtr lengths of 300mm cable tray, 3 garment lockers, a diesel fill hose, 2no space heaters, half a rhino roof rack, 2 sets of ladders, 2 sets of steps, 116 linbins, 7 linbin racks, a horde of Pajero parts worth £££'s, 12no blue barrels and 20 euro pallets..

I'm sure I've missed stuff off to, and that's only the last week of purchases!
