If I have to, a snapped full size blade in a welding gloved hand as my Eclipse padsaw handle, inherited from my dad, seems to snap them even shorter at the slightest thing.

I used to have that problem, some of the Eclipse blades are marked "Flexible bi-metallic" and these bend rather than break.

That is infact a genuine junior hacksaw blade! I think they are intended for children to play with whilst their father does diy with a proper hacksaw. The chance of child injuring or cutting anything are nil.
Yet to find one thats any good!

Think most are designed for cutting wood although I have got some which will cut small bolts and fingers if you aren't careful

My spindle measures 66mm.

The same area as your 66mm on my mini-mill is where you shove a pin in to hold the spindle - had to space the lamp down from it, and it made it a bit too much faff to keep on .

Ah yeah, I see. Shouldn't be an issue on the drill but will keep an eye out for that on the mill.

Great reason for you to start a Concorde restoration project now. There should be a Clarke portable hanger available to store it during the work.

I have a corded one...but every time I see some Milwaukee tools posted I'm one step closer to switching from my bosch stuff!!!

Also amongst the random bits and concorde strut was this genuine 1960's 18" michelin man my grandfather had for the car garage/petrol station he used to own... Can't believe people will pay £400+ for some plastic

got some more big drills and taps cleaned up pretty nice


also a load of Whitworth fine taps mostly between 1 1/2" and 3/4" ive too many so if anyone really needs one let me know , im not familiar with Whitworth Fine they all seem to be 12 pitch which seems odd

Will do. This one came from Ebay. I'm not going to ask how much the Aliexpress ones are. I'm guessing they're dirt cheap on there?
