I went through much the same thought process with Makita cordless stuff and then getting the 12 V Bosch stuff (albeit just a drill and a light at the moment) for the weight.

I really like the Bosch 12v stuff...bought due to weight...I use it a lot on my allotment which is a walk away so often carrying stuff.
I keep seeing the Milwaukee stuff and questioning whether I should have gone red instead of blue...it was 50:50 at the time.

Never been tempted by Milwaukee myself. Granted, Bosch have been lacking in range for a while, but they seemed to have upped their game this last couple of year. Their range is increasing notably nowadays.

My brother taught me to plaster about 15years ago but you can get a pretty decent finish with this stuffYou know when you buy one of these:

I don't find it too bad....I was taught by a mate who's a plasterer. Like everything once someone has talked you through the stages it's a lot easier.
I find small rooms the most difficult...did an under stairs loo and that was quite a challenge.

Its actually not that difficult but without knowing all the stages you will never work out how to do it , i actually really enjoy doing it but im not keen on ceilings holding your arm above your head for hours is not much fun
