I have now um.. made it slightly better and made a decision.. I'm going to make a new one. I have patched and braced and everywhere I look theres a new hole.. The L plate down each side that had sheared were actually 3" hinges. There is a slightly mental arrangement where the sides could be dropped flat. Well they could if it didn't have any wheels. Anyway. shiny new trailer body ahoy!Plan B is about 80 quids worth of steel hidden on the next order, re use the A frame and the axle and make one similar but a couple of foot longer. Or cut the middle out and make a new section. Not sure yet. Today might be welding it back together with some splints so I can deliver a couple shelf units I really dont want to be putting on the roof of the Transit... To be honest I haven't entirely made my mind up. It is still cheap though.
Haven't seen one of those in a while!!View attachment 117553
Ever since I picked these filters up this morning they have bean bugging me. In my head was a nagging thought I had seen them or something similar to them in my past.
I had.
@daleyd
You should of piped up.
The picture below shows them in situ on a modern day RN Bridge compass.

2 decent relays, now to:
1.Find the wiring details.
2. Find a use.
Or.
3. Find a Member to donate them to for a beer token or 2.
It is a first day with me doubling up to show him the ropes, so to say.
Nothing as yet, but the house next door is being cleared into a skip so I am poised like a coiled spring.
