Then brought 3 tool boxes full of taps, dies, reamers and drill. Said take what I want and see if I can sell the rest.

Only ever had use for an m7. Old vw aircolled engines use a mechanical thermostat with m7 thread. Had to make a tap as no suppliers had any.Nice come in handy even off you never use them.
I too hav e large collection but the odd time I have needed one they have been a life saver.
Still not used the M7 and M9 though

Just noticed the picture is hosted on Photobucket, have they changed their 3rd party hosting stance
Tis a portable wouldn't have thought it would be. My old site tranny was 10kva and was hardwired to the board. Sold that before I left jersey far to cumbersome.Thing is, the one I have is 5Kva continuous, screwfixes one is 2.5Kva continuous, 5Kva intermittent..
Reckon tbh this should be on a 32Amp blue, but the supplier site doesn't give much info, doesn't even state its input current, just input voltage..might have to phone them....
http://www.electro-wind.co.uk/article.asp?id=521 << mine
trouble is at bootsales some things are that cheap and quality u buy them just for the sake of it . I've had to stop buying hacksaws and thin british bolster chisels as I have a dozen of each 3 quid for the saws and a quid for chisels
most transformers trip when u 1st plug them in specially a 32 amp b type mcb starting current on a wire wound tranny is high . wish u had chucked em my way
Today I acquired... erm... that:

Looks like it fits a 3/8" ish triangular "nut".
God only knows where it came from, I just got home, went for my keys and found it in my pocket.
Went to the very poor local Car Boot.
A bag full of Rotoring tech drawing stuff ideal for Daughter as she is studying Civil Eng, £2!
Why is that so? Ive thrown away 2 transformers and got another that does the same
