Need the planer skilly jigsaw and hammer drill the other drills are a bonus. Torches just get relegated to the garage.
There my core tools and will save me time running leads and trannys for a 5 minute job.

I usually buy naked tools a lot cheaper than with batts but with all the above more batteries are welcomed.

I get what you mean with the torches i have 2 but they are LED ones and i got 2 batteries that were 2AH for £10 from a guy that said he needed all 4/5 Ah ones, so i just use those for the torches, But its rare i am out after dark with my reputation

Me too! Only it's not actually new.. In fact its hardly got any newness left in it at all. Rough is a phrase thats thrown about a lot nowadays, but in this case...

I have reached the stage where I have started finding tools I've bought at a good price and put in a 'safe place', only to forget about the existence of the tools and where they are. The grave beckons.

That is now safe at home. The carpet made good padding and transport material.

But I did not get it today, but yesterday. But I had to get it home intact.

I actually bought this about two years ago, it's an Enots grease gun. Bought for a friend who went on about not having a grease gun that was comfortable in the hand. Anyway, they have since bought a huge silver thing with pump action handle that takes a cartridge whole, so today this quietly disappeared and ended up in my workshop - funny that! Really simple construction and easy to take apart - a real bind to reassemble but I got there in the end. Now reloaded with Total grease that looks like caramel, probably the first time it's been cleaned as I scooped out all manner of colours!

So last week I won some items in an auction and last night I collected them,
A Record Vice number 3 (£25 plus charges) handle needs a bit of a smooth but seems to work nice, might look for a new set of jaws in the future


A Perfoset embossing machine (£5 plus charges) not sure why I got it.... but I might have a job for it in the future



An air powered Riviter (£25 plus charges



An Air powered Nut serter tool and about 1500 nutserts (8mm and 6mm) and a box of 16mm nuts (£25 plus charges)



A tray of mostly metric taps and dies (and a jam jar of whitworths dies) and a few big drill bits
(£20 plus charges)



Also purchased not photograpthed 4 Chelsea buns (60p each) and a Bath Bun (65p)

All in all a nice haul and hopefully not too bad a buy

I was gonna say you got a good deal on that, some other brands are over two grand new.

I only got it for the odd stove building ( I prefer to bolt on teh doors etc so are more replaceable)

As mentioned, Mk5 suffered from a nasty attack of the MOTs, so this one followed me home. I wish it was as good as it looks in the pic, but at least it was very cheap.
