I got some catalogues, nice old stuff. The Harrison is a dream machine so until then the brochure will have to do! The two Colchester ones were cheap, $5 each and the top one has my Bantam in with all the specs and importantly all the accessories illustrated. Interestingly the catalogue says the lathe weighs 455kg opposed to the 343kg quoted on Tony's site.

Finally got home and unloaded the haul of machining bits and pieces I mentioned a couple of pages back. Had to clear a new shelf in the "stores" to put them whilst I figure out what to do with them!!
Jones and Shipman grinding wheel balancer
Selection of workholding bits, cubes, squares jacks, v-blocks etc
Various grinding attachments one fo which will be repurposed for the Clarkson
Couple of rotary tables - the Indexa weighs a ton!! (250mm)
Couple of old mag chucks an a huge chunk of plate
Random measuring devices
And some "odds and ends"
Also a packet of these - no idea what they are - company made electrical switchs and wondering if they were very small electrodes for the spot welder? (about 6" long)

The 'green eyed God' hasn't reached here yet.....not!! HaHa, trouble is half the stuff will never get used, then you see stuff others have found and get really jealous as its the thing your looking for!!

On a more mundane level, I pulled the trigger on this this p.m. - been after one for a while to replace the Bernzomatic one I have. Genuinely looks 'as new' and with the extra bottles I reckoned it was as good a deal as I was going to find, esp up here where '2nd user' stuff like this is a bit like hens' teeth. Should be here next week sometime.

Men in Shed...just been on the local TV news that a North East 'shed' has been broken into and vandalised for the fourth time in 12 months - apparently a lot of damage to machinery etc........barstewards!!!
