It is a roller crowbar - used for lifting milling machines and lathes etc.
I suppose you could use it for lifting drains as well.

Popped into my local scrap yard to drop some well scrap, nothing special and not much weight and while I was there something got my attention, ended up doing a swap, think I had the better deal

Mirka abrasives used to be just down the road from me, their skip was full of boxes of sheets, giant sanding belts, and rolls of abrasive. I've got a lifetimes supply.Went to look at sanders and ended up coming home with a bosch grinder as a spare for £25 even though it said £30 and a mirka hand sander kit that was £20

It is supposed to - decided not to start in the kitchen though - just waiting for it to stop raining - might get to try it this month if I am lucky! Oh and I need some 25:1 mix!

had a one or 2 of those the ones i picked up where shot one had a worn shaft the other one a worn and marked piston rings and bore with the cost of the bits and how rare they are it was a scrap job

Going back to my post #7528, I'm making progress now that the weather has decided to behave for a day or two. Thanks to Rob aka @the black box I've got the bits polished and will move on the the next stage soon. Excuse the pics a) taken on phone & b) difficult to show shiny bits and retain at least some shadow detail....

Rescued that, not 10 minuets ago. It was destined to the skip, as it was pig to start and was to noisy.
Fuel tank of fuel as well.
I have no use for it, but I will give it to Men In Sheds.

The leaf blower is home.
Mixed up 20/1 fuel mix, as advised.
Fired up 3rd pull, ran rough for a few minuets and then settled down.
The machine makes that "Buzzing" noise or 2 small two strokes make.
One more machine going to a good home.

The Niagara No.3.31 hand grinder.
When I got it, it did not rotate, it had a seized and snapped bolt.
But Time, coffee, beer and some odd bits we went from this:
Through a de-rusting bath, to this.
I spent some time today rebuilding the grinder. I found out that the main gear wheel is shimmed to give it the correct clearance.
Guess what had not surived the passage of time and the strip down.
The shims, if any were there.
But I had something what could be made to do the job.
Finally we ended up with this.
The wooden handle was cleaned up and re-used. You can see the new bolt holding the crank handle.
