Yes I have started work on one item.

The sprayer.
The wooden handle was splitting and very dry.
So to give me a chance to save it, or copy it I am drowning it.
In linseed oil and bee's wax.

The feral was buckled.
But not for long.



Plus one bit was treated to a lick of brasso.




Will this stop me "acquiring"?

Went to look at sanders and ended up coming home with a bosch grinder as a spare for £25 even though it said £30 and a mirka hand sander kit that was £20

That mirka stuff is really good,
The mesh strips work really well especially with dust extraction

I am doing some decorating in a small room i need to sand and have a vacuum running this should be better the sanding pads are good and someone said quite good prices on ebait

I enjoy seeing Mirka making a name in the world, it's from a tiny tiny town here in Finland y'know, called Jeppo. We drive through it sometimes when going to visit relatives. There's a huuge factory out there in nowhere.

Edit:
I remember one winter we were going home and passing through Jeppo and the cars temperature sensor registered -33C outside. Sure were glad the car didn't have issues in the cold, being a diesel.

I acquired a load of emergency lights with batteries, stripped the batteries off and the ballast now currently using the ballasts as a charger and the batteries are going in the truck canopy to power some led light

Hi Not today but my most recent find , put out by a neighbour for the scrap man , but I got there first ! , he was happy for me to take it and give it a good home ,turns out he made it during his apprenticeship many years ago, a sand a coat of paint is in order.

Went to collect this today as a left over pile of 2.5mm wall galv box section from a mate and saw a box of bits that had big nuts and bolts and studs and some large box spanners sitting on a skip.

Just received a nice little crowbar today. Seriously hefty! It is over 5ft long .

Fair play the bloke packed it well - took ages to open one end. It said buyer collects but I arranged collection of course.
Even TNT or DHL couldn't break this!
Solid bar none of your tube rubbish.........

its not a crowbar you will find its usage more for lifting drain grates and wheeling them one side
