Tested it earlier. Would have to be a big forge. Saved me sweeping the leaves up by the door. Near enough blew my lad along on his scooter.

too powerful for a forge i have one of those yellow fans for inflatables and thats the same i still havent found a use for it as of yet

Il pop a vent in the garage door for extraction at home But il mainly put it to use at work. Could have done with it last week. Can't always use water when I'm cutting inside. Full face mask and crack on.

Today I acquired a Migatronic water cooling unit of some kind (Pilot MCU)
I had been bidding on some other stuff from a foreclosure auction 15 miles from my home when the description "water cooling box" caught my eye, and after looking up the Pilot MCU moniker i decided to place a 15 quid bid.
To my surprise nobody else bid on it so today i picked it up.
The plan was to use this for my single phase SAF AC/DC unit currently under repair.
After opening it up to check aroudn I bit I got a bit of a downer.
The unit contains a 3 phase Speck pump, so using it with the single phase SAF wasn't my best choice (as that would mean my only single phase welder needed 3 phase for the cooling)
I have decided to place my DIY made cooler currently connected to one phase of my 3 phase One Welding.be (Everlast/Rtech copy, has a single phase cooler conenction) under the SAF, and overhaul the 3 phase Migatronic to fit below the Everlast.
I have ordered a panel mount connector and a few feet of 4x1.5sqmm cable from Conrad, the plan now is to remove the current One welding connector, fit a new 4 pole panel mount in it's place, and then mount the old panel mount to the SAF (as the connector on the SAF and the one I use on the homebrew cooler don't match)
I'll be in it for 30 quid at the max, and will be left with a 3 phase welder with 3 phase cooler, and a single phase welder and ditto cooler.

Big thanks to @Tom Orrow L for a cracking deal, this turned up today 
Have had to get it tucked away under cover at the back of the garage till i finish the current woodwork project (hence thd sawdust) and go into town to pick up a bottle of gas and a spool of wire.

Just looked at the specs on that machine. Looks like it can pull 45A! Gonna need a meaty extension lead for that!

Got a 50amp supply to the garage and a dedicated 32amp supply for the welder. I doubt I'll ever need it's full 250 capability but i went with the max i could to future proof. I'm looking forwards to having a go with it, be handy when i get round to a project for a family friend.
