Cutting that up is a crime, good on you trying to save it and and least part of it will live on

I LOATHE them, Spent 2 months last year using one to connect up a companys patch panels and network points, about 1000 cables in various locations I could hardly grip anything and I could guarantee at least half a dozen didn't punch down per panel... Troubleshooting afterwards was a right pain in the bum!

Nowt wrong with health and safety but it has a place and a time and someone wanting a old table that's going out isn't one

Using a Krone tool is my daily job, I normally wear one out every 18 months.
First thing I do with a new one is stick a drop of super glue on the 5 bolts holding the body together as you can guarantee that they will vibrate out in the van and it will fall apart.

Not today, but over the last few days at work. Mostly from looking into second hand shops, in one case fishing.
Yes, @Parm I was back there again, so I went magnet fishing.
Nothing moves on it, but the teeth in the jaws look in good condition. So it is in the de-rusting bucket.
Ignore the red handle pliers, they are not part of the finds.
The wire?
Not solder.
Turns out to be 60amp fuse wire
4 hole saws, 3 unused and the 4th caked in what looks like black tar.
3 hose fittings, one small paint scraper.
1 metal and 1 wood chisiel
Plus a small, riveted hand hoe, that's de-rusting
Ignore the cricket ball, that's a few weeks old and still not bean done.
Some hand tools, most of this lot will be donated to Men In Sheds, I have enough tools.

Cleaned up the old hoe, only details on it are Made in England and a Number. The Number is 171.
The shaft was turned down from a old wooden bar stool and fitted.
The white cap on the nail head, yes. The MIS member who was helping liked it that way, so we left it like that. It now is down the allotment, all ready to use.
Cleaned, painted and a new edge reground. Nice simple job.
Cleaned up, all working.
Todays find now.
A odd headed hammer, no visible makers details.
Another copper bit soldering iron, yes, why not.
Yes, another blow lamp, but this one was brought for some one who asked me to find him one.

It could be, local we had in the past narrow gauge track ways for the old quarry workings.
Bit further afield we had the Somerset Coal fields.
Plus the old stone quarry workings near Bath.
It is certainly old, just by the pitting on the head.
