This turned up today, I got it using the Ebay 20% deal last week, Dewalt 18v nail gun set not tried it yet as i forgot to order nails...

Screwfix sell dewalts own nails without gas. Never given me issues. Still buy paslode from howdens usually. Watched a video of a new one being stripped and noticed the differences.
Mine must be old stock with needle roller radial bearing and thrust bearing rather than a plain bearing. Result.
In need of a good clean. Old lubricants a bit manky. Other than that it's mint.

Yup but nails are one of those items.
Don't realise you need them till your halfway through a day. Could save a fiver or so on 2500 buying online but not gonna help me that day.
Put an order into these a few times a year but only worth doing it for larger orders.

Then this 6lb Brades sledgehammer. You can't even buy Chinese ones for $12, result!
This load of spanners cost me $15. Really I only bought it for the 10" Crestoloy Crescent - been after a proper USA one for ages, the rest are bonuses but a few nice SK and Gordon ones are in there too.
Cleaned up and oiled. This is next to a cheap Chinese one that I will probably keep forever, it's from my first ever restoration project age 14 - a lawnmower. Dad was not happy that I got spray paint all over the spanner and the floor! Even though the lawnmower is gone, it reminds me of a happy time
Then this was a weird find...
It's a John Perks hammer, probably pre-war and an absolute score for $4
I've yet to weigh it but it seems to be more than a pound, but less than 1.5lb. It's fourth from the right on this photo (which goes 1/2lb, 3/4lb, 1lb, ?lb, 1.5lb, 2lb, 2lb cross pein)
All in all a good little haul

Weighed the hammer heads. The Perks is 1lb 1oz, the Brades is actually 14oz, which means 2oz have gone missing. Keep or sell the Brades, that is the question...
