I spent last Friday morning drilling up through raised floor tiles to get cables into a partition wall. My 18V GSB could just fit in between the slab and the tile with the shortest Starret cutter I could find but I had no leverage on the drill having to wedge a hammer between the drill and floor then lever up on the hammer. I am still black and blue down my right side from laying on an ElecTrac and a cable basket, I will probably end up buying one from the States.

Popped into Chronos today. Ten mins before closing so didn't have a good poke around.

Torq screws are good quality too so happy with these. No need to swap them out.

Today I have saved from certain doom.
Twin set of garden benches.
Yes, the wood was well past the use by date.
They are not that old, 1982 according to the cast date on the frames.
Both are striped of the wood and now in a customer made de-rusting tank.
A Fret saw, another blow torch, shelf brackets and a American 220V soldering iton.
A stowage box full of old and old assorted bits.
All given to my Men In Shed.
3 phase breaker switch.

I’m trying to add to my hammer collection but the only thing of interest was a double header (2 striking faces, unsure of correct term) with a brocken shaft, could have a new hammer for the price he wanted

I’ve only been twice and got tools both times
It’s a typical car boot with plenty of tat but seems worth having a dig through the boxes

It is solid beech.
