Two 6mm laser cut steel discs from Pennine Metals Direct on eBay; one 250 and one 300mm diameter.

I know that you'll all be holding on with baited breath in eager anticipation of knowing what I'm next going to weld together and then buff needlessly with a flap disc or three but I'm still at the CAD modelling stage... and there's a three metre length of 76 x 38mm channel waiting too.

Why did I go straight to eBay to order some bulbs, that took days to arrive, and that didn't do the job? :doh:

A small planter. Not metal but metal finished plastic. Just what I need as a pickling bath :thumbup:

I use RS quite a bit. I looked at a few places and RS actually came out just a few £ dearer but then when you added the postage costs RS was cheaper as they are free and delivery is quick,just ordered this last night about 6pm.

RS are great for that, very reliable. They saved me a penny once as well. Still can't figure out how the hell that happened but :dontknow:

Save from the scrap man...dropped some timber of to my mate for his log burner and spotted he had put these out for a scrap man,
I think the geared sharpener felt quite nice and the scales worked but could do with a good clean up, I didn't see and makers names yet.

Small collection of turning tools from a bloke at work. Belonged to his father in law who passed away, gave him a few quid for them so we were both happy. Bit of cleaning up and re-grinding and they'll be good to go.
