My new multimeter arrived today. Its a 15b+ off ebay. It feels as well made as my 87v, the dial feels just as smooth, I'm very pleased with it for £55 quid.

I acquired a bit of scaffold tube, its just right length not to be a pain in the back of the van, its long enough to use one handed, and long enough to get enough of a swing on a stubborn bolt or lift the frame of a fan or pump.. Those in the "know" will know what a valuable asset this is... I am sad to say that it isn't as good as the farther inlaws thick wall, ali tube. But it was free...

I've got a Wanner, bought about 50 years ago to grease the old mans CA Bedford. Still going strong, the grease gun, that is, the old man popped his clogs 30 years ago.

More chemical goodies thanks to the hamfisted clods who I work with, 250 ml Loctite 638, can't sell it due to another bottle splitting and leaking over the rest, about £140 worth and it's in date. Then a couple of tins of Stag jointing compound, same reason, also various cans all with dents or caps missing of lubricants, anti-spatter and cleaners/degreasers. Plenty more to come I reckon.

You mean you have returned them to the gas company, and would never even think off damaging their property, or breaking health and safety legislation by cutting them up.

just acquired a 50m long extension lead had been used wound up so 25m lost I had to ut it off the reel with a grinder it has melted into a nice heavy copper ring for the scrap man. so I have a free 25m lead now
