I've always wanted an oil filled stick welder, this came along at the right time and price for meIt looks suspiciously like a pickhill, who made all the oxfords, olympic and cytringan oil filled welders. Cracking kit, very smooth and you'll be amazed how quiet it is too!
I've always fancied one as well, you beat me to it. When I looked at the ads, you'd already got your name down for it. Beaten by a few minutes. I rarely get the stick welder out, so it would be a waste for me to have bought it really, it was just a fancy, enjoy it.I've always wanted an oil filled stick welder, this came along at the right time and price for me

Sifts are good for sand if you're into casting?I just acquired 20 or so old plastic chopping boards a trolley full of old pots and pans with some lids a dozen or so sifts don't know what I am going to do with it all seems criminal to bin it all, I do like a chopping board or 2 though
just got some more goodies a microwave working going in the garage lots of baking sheets some Yorkshire tins more pans a few woks I need to make a sculpture or something.
Unless any one needs any bits?

Plastic chopping boards are usually UDHP which is really good for sliding surfaces and as a general engineering material - I made some clips to hold the grille on my car once with it.
Glass lids are good for glass doors for wood stoves.
Steel pans are OK (not good - just OK) for crucibles or burn pots for oil burners.
Pudding tins/baking trays make raw sheet stock for car repairs or folded to make storage boxes/drawers
Bun tins/ bread tins make ingot moulds - although bread tins can be converted into linbins by rivetting a strip of steel (from a baking tray?) to one end as a hanger
I made a three tier fountain from different sized woks - they also work as bird baths, or roofs for birdhouses when inverted.
Aluminium stuff I just melt down for stock.
cool thanks for the ideas I use chopping boards for all sorts
baking sheets are very thin though less than 1mm
I do have 80L of oil so I really should make a burner for it
I made some 80mm squares from a plastic chopping board as feet under a garden table I made last summer. It stops the end grain of 4" timber sucking up the water
Did Robinsons take over Hartleys Brewer from Ulverston?Oh yes, 4 of these.

never seen them before, but im not a massive iron maiden fan either i guess but upon a google i see they are worth between £10 & £25 quid each..Oh yes, 4 of these.
