Yup, of all the tools I have I reckon a 3/4 t bar, 3/4 to 1/2 reducer and my favorite piece of scaff tube are £ for £ the most cost effective bits I use, and the scaff tube was out of someones skip I just asked if I could have it, only polite to really, wouldnt be with out it, I also have a piece of heavy walled galvanised tube that only just fits over said T bar, only about 15" long, but again makes a perfect extension for the bar. bet snap on dont make tubes like it ! ha. well not at my prices...ArtherI acquired a bit of scaffold tube, its just right length not to be a pain in the back of the van, its long enough to use one handed, and long enough to get enough of a swing on a stubborn bolt or lift the frame of a fan or pump.. Those in the "know" will know what a valuable asset this is... I am sad to say that it isn't as good as the farther inlaws thick wall, ali tube. But it was free...
