Today I acquired.
Something different..
These two fantastic myford lathe books.
The Draper kit was a nice find for me , its added to my meagre metric collection.
Unfortunately not... would of been nice. The machine was sold a long while ago. But he kept the books..and handed them to me.You didn't happen to acquire the machines too?
I don't belive you. There is no way on earth any professional gave you that advice.I did not ask you.
The legal advice came from a qualified person.

I was just going to warn you that you are on dodgy ground. Obviously if you are just going to make stuff up it doesn't matter either way.
Sorry lads, as you were.
I don’t have to unlock the hut to switch the heating on
I went shopping yesterday and found this old hoe head, gave it a clean around potential logo areas and hey presto! It’s Whitehouse Bros of Cannock. This brand pre-dates Cornelius Whitehouse’s hedgehog brand. Very nice for $3, this will be from the turn of the century. I’ll clean it and put it back to use.
Is the handle slot split or is it solid?
Split. It’s pressed steel.
Shame, if it was solid it would of bean forged.
Near Belfast was a Old fashioned Spade/ shovel makers. Been on the Tv a few times, it was a fantastic visit.
They make stuff like that the old fashioned way.
This is some of the later hedgehog stuff - this pattern was offered in the 1920s. This is a forged tool of theirs. I love these things, use them for stripping tree branches for mulching.
To my shame, I've not bothered working out how the remote fob works on mine.
@slim_boy_fat
That's hop I told you about, were you got you lathe bits from.
They are having a sale soon.
