Today I acquired a hydraulic bead breaker for the tractor/truck rims. Its a lump and a half, dont think my portapower pump is going to hold enough oil and the fitting is massive in comparison

They are all right especially for thirty quid, I got one last time they came around it is now stuffed with most of my Drummond's tooling.Just a bit of a heads up really. These little ALDI tool chests are down to £29.99 at the till. Originally advertised £39.99 then reduced to £34.99. Got a further unexpected five pound reduction (Or "saving" as my wife would say) at the checkout. Took it home, liked it a lot for the money and went back to get another. Reasonable quality, rubber liners in bottom three drawers, ball bearing slides. Worth it for the convenience of buying locally compared to ordering on line. Plus I might be able to find some more stuff in the garage now.

Good to know it wasn't a bad buy.The 1024 boxes are quite good. if you take the screw cutting plate off the box you can see inside to adjust the parts and make it easier to graft onto another lathe. the centre selector does get tight and seize up and need to be adjusted.
Just back from this morning’s tootle up Weardale to the Stanhope Show, where in between watching heavy horse displays and drooling over some fabulously restored old cars I picked up this cast iron fire pit, already earmarked by OH for a soon to be decked area behind the summer house. Kept the tat stalls ticking over by purchasing a few more pairs of work gloves and 3 clevis hooks that will form the basis of an industrially rustic hanging bracket in the utility room, to be completed when I can acquire some 1” steam pipe and some elbows. I also talked to a lot of nice folk in stunning countryside, not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning

That's an Indian Karahi (Steel Wok) bastardised into a fire pit
No stabbings took place thankfully
Bought on ebay. Milling cutters have been used. Most of the centre drills are new as are the countersinks.

Not sure as its small. Maybe mt1. Thought it was more for tapered pins.Which Morse taper is that reamer? Useful thing to have...
