Just to update, sent an email to Katie to ask if there has been any progress but nothing as of yet.

I will keep trying to pester and see if we can eventually get somewhere with this.

Did Katie say how many emails she has received up to now? The Volkszone deal is really good, We just need to get more members to send her requests for the same deal on pure argon,I'm quite sure only a small percentage of our membership have sent a request to her.And we do need as much support as possible.

Unfortunately not, I keep sending a reminder every week or so but Katie can't do anything directly. She can only pass on the details and mention that people are really interested in this deal, but its the BOC managers that have to make the decision and who knows when that will be !?!

I refer to the Volkszone offer that entailed supplying the 'Y' type cylinder, pure argon, at a fixed rental and wish to add support to you taking this request to the secretary for consideration.
I'm a member of the MIG Welding Forum, and run my own small scale business supplying my own brand scientific survey equipment for the education sector in the UK.
With this pricing structure I will be able to afford to manufacture the devices 'in house' when necessary.
Technically this makes me a 'home user' as I have no need for a commercial user account, and this offer will benefit all of our group members in addition to promoting a great working relationship between BOC and the public.

Well last time it was about 30ish and we have had a few more, its probably about 40.

Whilst there are a lot of users on the forum, there may not be that many tig welders so the call for this deal is a bit more limited to the current deal for mig welding.
