Not so worried about doing jobs around the house. Just time with the kids. Just popped the van on the trickle charger and won't touch it again until early Jan. Got an earth leak somewhere.

I/we don't do Christmas presents based on the 'if I wanted it I'd have already bought it' idea. So instead of spending on those I use the money to make a donation to an animal charity, usually Blue Cross and a couple of small ones.

I got a 'new' bike from ebay last night. Bargain £60 Trek mountain bike, very good condition. And 10 spray cans of 90% zinc primer I saw reduced arrived yesterday. Also got a leather jacket from the Triumph outlet for £55 a few weeks ago so feel like I've got a load of Christmas gifts without spending too much.

My mojo went awol a while back but I now force myself into the cave for an hour a day no matter what, its amazing how much can be achieved by the end of the week and it kind of gives you a lift when things start to happen again. Sometimes it just clearing up or sorting stuff out.

That's what I do too. Even if there's nowt I want to do or make, just doing anything in there gets one back on track again.

Thanks for posting that pic, it's 'raw' cold here and that made me feel even colder....

We just got home and it has snowed twice as much, we got stuck in the snow with our car in our own driveway! I had to shovel the car clear and then also shovel the driveway so my SO can leave tomorrow, hope it doesn't snow so much it needs clearing again next morning. We've at least gotten half a meter or more of snow now.
