Forgot to take pictures 
but had to machine 2 new shaft ends for a Westwood powered grass collector sweeper today. The bearings on both ends of the shaft were goosed. The pulley side was so bad there were no balls left in the bearing and it had obviously been run like this for some time as the shaft end was extremely worn. (Note I got the sweeper unit 2nd hand for £30, so worth taking the time to repair). An hour later and I had 2 shaft ends machined up on the lathe. I then had to grind off the weld on the outside of the pulley to remove the worn shaft end and a good pressed in fit for the new shaft end was achieved and welded for good measure.

been making some low profile clamps, that use a modified cap head screw, that work as the screw head is eccentric.
and they go in T slots
and this is so I can face some black bar as I need to make a new milling vice and this will be the base of it
the brass bolts are so the bottom of the T slots dont get chewed up and should work ok if I only take light cuts. (up to 0.5mm)

Wow...I remember when you started asking questions about getting a small lathe and dipping your toe in the water mate, look at the quality of what your turning now..
