She's on the lift, is a bit tail heavy so added the caravan jacks and solid now. Front cross member in so on with the rebuild.

Gave the crossmember a good dose of Bilt-Hamber Dynax S50, it's the dogs. If I get some time this weekend I hope to give the suspension springs a paint. Got some Jotun AX Hardtop for the engine and gearbox so will use that for the springs.​

A bit of work on the Amazon over the weekend. Front wheel bearings need replacing, thought they would be okay but there are scores on the outer races and rollers. Also need new set of bushes for the shocks.

The front wheel bearings arrived today so I fitted them and the brake hubs to the car. They both spin lovely.

Checked runout, maximum specified is 0.1mm or 4thou in old money. Mine was 0.02mm so all good. Replaced the shock bushes, gave the shocks a clean and fitted them and the rear springs. Will tighten the suspension up properly when the car is on it’s wheels.

I had a couple of hours this afternoon so made up the brake callipers and started working out how the old front brake lines went. I’ll make new lines next now I know how the old ones went.

Started making some new brake pipes this afternoon for the front. Just one at a time.
