ABS, what is that.Atleast it doesn't need to be piped to those pesky ABS box's
It's a twin brake circuit. What's the reasoning for the twin pipes in the caliper?
It's just a cheapo for the brake lines, will get a pic. It does quite a tight bend so when needing bigger bends I just do a little and move it along a bit until I get the curve I want.Your brake pipes are very good. There are very cheap brake pipe bending tools out there and there are some quite expensive ones as well. It would be good to see what you are using to get such presentable results.
This is my wee little bender, need to be creative with some of the bigger bends but worked okay.Your brake pipes are very good. There are very cheap brake pipe bending tools out there and there are some quite expensive ones as well. It would be good to see what you are using to get such presentable results.
I find that there's rarely a sensible answer to weird stuff like that in the automotive industry, it could have been a design change to the subframe that wasn't updated for the pipes. Equally it could have been Sven dropping a blob of meat ball sauce on the subframe drawing before it went to prototyping.I copied the original brake lines and most of it made perfect sense but why these two kink out like that I can’t understand, maybe when the car is back together. They could just go straight and as far as I can see would be totally out of the way. Anyone got any thoughts why?
I'm being a bit thick!It's a twin brake circuit.
I'm being a bit thick!
Does it mean there are two completely seperate brake circuits for all four wheels?
Lovely job by the way!
It might be something to do with right hand and left hand differences but the layout is the same with the booster in the same location.Actually, looking at the layout it would appear to be so that they can use the same pipes for LH or RH drive when the splitter block swaps sides?
Oh, I was thinking if the servo swapped sides then they'd just flip everything across the engine bay and the splitter would be on the opposite side. I guess we're back to Sven and his meatballs then.It might be something to do with right hand and left hand differences but the layout is the same with the booster in the same location.
