Next part to clean prep and primer is the shaper fork. On a go slow today as my back is showing an old injury

No. Restoration works is my hobby. I am actually a groundwork and asphalt engineer by trade. But I left that due to injuries.. I am currently 50 years old and unemployed.

Looks great, I'm jealous of how nice you get the machined surfaces, but I'm aware it's only effort and determination that's missing from my process.
You find the ability to put in the extra effort alot of us leave out.

Thanks graeme. It's just effort and technique. Nobody looks at like you do yourself with restoration works. Your machine is coming on nicely snd looks great

I picked a level of effort I was happy with for this project and stuck to it. It's come out better than I thought it would all things considered.
