It's an awkward item to clean. And being long .I will give it a final clean up before assembly. Can't have rust in places like that.good idea that, I had similar dilemma with my Harrison but waited until I got it running again. I cleaned it under its own power, 1500 RPM and some 600 Grit wrapped round a cardboard tube brought it up to a nice shine in seconds very satisfying :-)
