I think so, I'm not sure what's on his chin though...Merkins?

all that says to me was the dentist has a careless attitude to peoples teeth while sorting it out on the nhs systemwas....I can tell you've been with the NHS ....he's sorted a few issues out, had to take a couple of them out as the NHS dentist let them go too far.
The tales of drive by dentistry in the NHS means I won't be going back!
I'll be needing work in a few years so will look into a Euro trip to get them sorted.
Is this why you never finish your projects!
When will we have a topic on DIY dental?
I though they just popped a bit of silicone in them!I can see it now; "How I 3D Printed SWMBO's Top Set".
I'm the same, though I'm always concerned that they're about to write to me and say that they're stopping doing NHS work. I've just come back from a routine six-monthly examination, while I was there he said "I'll just do a couple of X-rays, they haven't been done for a while", all OK, so examination, quick polish and two X-rays, £25.80 all in. I don't come away with that "freshly scraped" feeling that I used to years ago, where all the bits between my teeth have been scraped out or jet-washed away, but then I've got some dental picks that I sometimes have a go with, and I'm finally better at brushing my teeth, so maybe it's just that I'm leaving him less to do.Always been lucky with our dentist. If you're not registered for with one under the nhs it must be a nightmare
You don't have a water pik ?My hygienist uses something I think called "powder jet" when you go for a clean. Much better than all the scraping of old though a bit of that is sometimes needed. Tbh I would prefer injections and a filling rather than a hygienist session.
Dreading my bill later today.
I've had 3 big 'uns removed at the back, so I have to chew a bit further forward than usual. I tend to avoid foods like toffee, and rock hard pork scratching nowadays too.Teeth are overrated, i have 2 missing at the back for years and have conditioned my gums to chew meat and even cashew nuts and apples on the same side. My dentist refuses to believe me, if i lose the other side i will put them under a tough training regime too as i can't even think about using dentures in future as i gag in the morning just using a toothbrush in my mouth

I don't see how that effects you personally. That report is averaging out.
