Thats the one im using,
Bare in mind mine is only the smaller air top 2000 though.
79ppl at the pump today. Unleaded was 120.9ppl for comparative purposes.Am I far off thinking red is roughly 55p/L?
Sounds more likely a water heater than an air heater, basically the same thing except rather than an air to air heat exchange it's a air to water one, you could plumb it to a radiator to get the heat.I have a version of one of these that I took out of an ex BT van - can barely remember what it looks like...
Is it likely to do space heating? I do remember it was one that fed a hot tap and sink on the back door as well as doing engine preheat.
same/ similar thing as in galaxy'sIs it likely to do space heating? I do remember it was one that fed a hot tap and sink on the back door as well as doing engine preheat.
Red is cheaper we have a local place that has red at the pump.
Vehicle they came from wont matter
100% calorific value of 1 Litre 35 Second viscosity Heating oil (Gas Oil) = 10.85 kw/hrs so 5KW heater is going to use 0.5 ltr ish for 1 hr at 100 % so with loss of exhaust heat 0.64 is looking about right (poss if not a little low ) so road fuel you are looking 70-80 p hr on full, obviously with kero a LOT less cost, now with a large motor home I would guess it would be on 80/90 % of the time in cold weather, due to heat loss through large body, also as an average normal front car heater produces 7-10 KW's and doesnt usually have enough heat for the rear too, hence most large vehicles have front and rear heaters run off the engine coolant, albeit single glazed and that normally is travelling so heat is usually lost due to movement, imo.
7-10kw in a car can not be right.
5kw can over heat a 12 x 20 badly insulated foot room.
