Bit off topic....but I was trying to work out the absorption capacity of EVs....I reckon 20k cars can absorb something like 1GWh of electricity?I suspect the power company bean counters have already crunched the figures and see it as being far cheaper to use the punters investment in battery
The peak power in the grid (google) is 70GWh...so that could maybe charge 8.5m cars assuming a 6hr off peak period. Seems like there's a reasonable amount of capacity available (or my maths is off!).
