Gas or fan oven should be ok but needs to be around 50ºC or you'll end up with a sold lump.
Electric ovens are a bad idea because as the element is trying to push the average temperature up to 50º, the actual element itself will be at a vastly higher temperature. While a gas flame is also a much higer temperature too, it dissipates that that much more effectively into the volume of the oven. Don'e let the plastic anywhere near the flame of course...
Probably best to get it to temp then switch it off before putting in the plastic to dry out or soften. Place it on something non conducting!
'Dried' a roll of moist pla in an electric oven at 70° for a couple of hours, worked ok. Did put an external thermocouple in past the seal to check the temp, didn't trust the accuracy of the internal thermostat.
