My lad has been working up some little connectors for tidying up WAGO blocks for me. Think he's looking at writing a script to auto generate whatever combination. This is a 3+2+3+5. They clip in and out just about right imo:

Because it is quick, easy, secure and if suitably protected allowed under wiring regs.

I think the 3d printing wago holder is great.

It's essentially a junction box, not how I'd do a junction box.

He says trying to bang the plastic lid on a junction box overfilled with wagos and wires.

Lol that was not my question. It was more why would 3 runs of wire come down a wall and be connected.
I can see it's use, it's neatness and guessed the regs allowed it. Just not why it came down the wall unless it was for ease of access.

You did ask, I am guessing the lights are on a very long way off the ground.

But it does not look like a switch and has no connections
I am only asking as I am wiring my garage and wonder why it's done like that.

This is in a bathroom cupboard where I'm planning a magazine fed, stacking loo roll holder / dispenser all hidden in the wall. I needed local power for the motors so put this box in. I just took a couple of cables off to the cupboard light and door switch.

...that was until the current "ammo" shortage!

As the roll "clamping" mechanism will be 3D printed in part, I was discussing with my lad some of the exotic, anti bacterial/microbial filaments available. Not that we'll be buying any!

Can't find any supplier of that copper impregnated PLA that has it in stock.
