If he does do that, please ask him to include the option for 4-way blocks as well. I know you cannot get 4-way in genuine Wago, but the Fako connectors do come in that configuration. It might also be good to have holes in it for both vertical and horizontal mounting.

Defo looks like there is an issue with Thingiverse, will upload to OneDrive and send you a link. Files are in ipj and stl format are these OK or do you want them exported from Inventor in a different format?

Rebuilt some perkins engines of late.
Massey ferguson 135 with ad3.152 engine.

Had to remove the exhaust manifold for another build so did a template of a gasket and now printing out some 'blanks' to stop stuff going in there.

Then also some radiator parts for a mate as cannot get them anymore and hers have broken.

Spent the day CADing up a Makita battery to Rolson ("Quality Tools" ) battery grinder. I did the bit that fits into the Rolson grinder on AutoCAD, my lad modified parts of the Yeggi/Thingiverse Makita to Ferrex battery adapter (that we previously downloaded, designed by A N Other), on Fusion 360. Two parts from there have now become one in Fusion, screw holes filled in, bits extruded and then my/his bit joined together. This will live on the grinder forever more so will be screwed on by discreet screws and hardwired as in soldered to the grinder. Just about to commit to printing in grey PLA. If this works then there's one to do for the jigsaw, circular saw, hedge trimmer etc. All different makes with very similar but not quite the same batteries. The Makita bit will be the same but the base plates all vary. 99% one of the adapters will fit the right angles drill @barking mat has. Of course only any use if he's a Makita man! Pretty sure we could do a DeWalt one etc:

1mm zinc sheet. The tabs on the white "Makita" one in the photo are someone else's design I simply copied. The ones for this adapter will be a variation on this:

There is a "but" to all this and that is BATTERY PROTECTION or lack thereof. Remains to be seen if it's an issue. I'll be using clone Makita batteries anyway. I might look to build in a little protection circuit in a hollow if I can find it again on Yeggi etc.

@barking mat , you'll have to wait a bit on this mate. Realised late last night that I'd made a faux pas on the dimensioning on the bit I did that fits into the grinder. In the order of 53mm instead of 63mm! Top tip, don't use a Vernier when you've had a couple!

Fixable but I might leave until the weekend as I'm back working on site and knackered / need to concentrat. Could have done with a cordless grinder and circular saw today too as all my main gear is locked down on a site I'm usually static based on. A set of working "seconds" would have been good.

Couple of hours on the CAD yesterday I guess for me on AutoCAD and my lad on Fusion 360. As I said we had the Makita bit model from the failed Makita / Ferrex adapter.

It'll take about 4 hours to print in PLA. I'd like to print it in grey ABS sometime. Got the material but the printer is inside and ABS is smelly.

Plan is to print some flat say 1mm templates to fit the various 18V bases so, Rolson, Champion, Marksman etc. I could post them to you and you can tell me which one fits yours. Sods Law none will!

This shows the issue to a degree. The white "ring" is the profile that fits the Rolson grinder. (Would show it better if it had the battery locking wings). It's placed in the base of an 18V Marksman grinder. See how its different on the width. The short curved end fits pretty well but the short flat end is off. The Marksman locking wings are much longer too than on the Rolson:

Will set the Makita / Rolson (grinder) adapter printing first thing tomorrow morning. Resulting print around midday hopefully.

Started the template tonight for the Makita/Marksman (jigsaw) adapter. (Printed a bit quick I think).

Started printing the Makita / Rolson 18V Adapter.

My lad found a way to increase the infill in specific areas only of the print. In the photo it's the middle third. (Blurred as a moving target to photograph).

This'll give us something meaty to put a self tapper in through the original grey battery holding tabs where I've drawn on a screw head. Pretty good, resiliant plastic on this grinder tbh. Up there with the top names I'd say. Deffo not made from boiled sweets and feels like it'd pass the drop test!

So far all I've managed to print is some dewalt battery holders so I can screw them to the wall next to the charger.

I'm yet to print anything I've deigned.

The fit is pretty good and needed minimal clean up. I’ll find a link for the file if anyone is interested but all you really have to do is type dewalt into thingiverse.

Yep, Anycubic i3 Mega S here.

We still have to play with settings. Mate has an Ender 3 and I'm quite impressed with the quality of his prints in comparison.

What's the DeWalt adapter done in, PLA?
