Yes there is . But for some reason I have got it into my head it needs reboring after cutting slot to a bigger size...but can't see what size.Outstanding, thanks for all your efforts on this!
Have you got a chamfer both ends of the bush? Can't

MMmmm yes I can see that on the photo. How many Mm would that be?Just to note the cutter has to go in parallel to the axis a little, 3mm, before the spiral starts.

Nearly there...that's the last cut of one side.
I believe they emailed a part to the international space station and printed it up there...Pretty cool seeing your design transmitted to another country and printed by someone else!

Just need the internal circlip grooves measurements.
Blown away here! @ukracer thanks a million for this, so pleased for a number of reasons. Particularly that it worked, vindication of the process! Another string to the 3D printing bow this afaic. Love the old meets new thing too. Who needs 4th axis / CNC? Seriously this I'm sure is more than great for what I need.
I must admit I did think it would catch going back up the cut.
When you go back up to restart you have to be 100% you returned before backing out one time took a small chunk out of the entrance to the spiral. What minor error, I can's see it?
