cheers just need to cut the fire box door fit some vents make a chimney and knock up a grill it can also be used as a standard BBQ too

What magic did you work to figure out the cuts on the two cylinders to be joined like that ?

I’ve ruined a few cylinders trying to do that

Taking shape nicely. I like how you’ve cut on the joints to leave flanges at both ends

Looking good, you have me thinking now i was going to go with the small cylinder vertical as opposed to horizontal.
As i do not want it to take up to much space.

If I was doing that I would go vertical as that’s just me, both designs will work.

No magic lol it was pain staking! kept cutting a little bit until is was rightish! it could have been better but hell it works.
I just cut where the welded seams were and only through the first skin to leave the re-enforcing ring intack to act as a door seal.

I did think about the small bottle being up right BUT i chose not to so the end/what was the top can become the door and I can fit bigger logs inside, well that is the plan.

Thanks not bad for a first attempt!

on a side note my pub bottle of co2 ran out so i hooked up the argoshield 5% wow what a difference a different colour arc a much nicer weld I wish I had tried it sooner!

I never bothered with Co2, They are like a night & day difference!

Got a bit more done for the frame work it's also mobile now too. Then it got dark and I got hungry so I cooked dinner and tried out my chimnea

I got a little bit more done on the smoker today well more on the trolley and stand but nevertheless progress, I can have a day on it tomorrow!
