The Mrs and I smashed it today.
All the sheets cut and up. Just need the box gutter. They are now saying Tuesday. Muppets. Half tempted to make one my self.

Might start the car port 're roof at the weekend I have got 5 sheets left need 6 but I'll bodge the off cuts together and match it all up.
Just have a hopper with bathroom wastes and a soil pipe to somehow seal around.

if you have blowlamp you can tin the corner so its sealed so no leaks

sounds like extra work to tin it, the mig welder is right below I reakon the torch will reach! gotta be quicker, easier and neater welding it

I will also weld a stop end one end and as they are 3m lengths I will weld the straight joint also I think. few coats of bitchem paint should be grand to outlive me then

what do you reakon chase lead into the brick work the length of the car pot also and have a L shape trim the same as the outher edges but just use it as a internal trim

makes no difference if you use tin or lead for covering over the edges lead is easier just expensive but so is tin as well but cheap

L shaped tin is harder as needs to be galved as well as folded into shape unlike lead where a 6" roll will do x2 3" folded with 2" down the wall and an 1" into the wall

sort 1st roof out under the other roof while you have chance or dont until the gulley arrives as you will need to sort then anyway

that pipe looks cast iron forget cutting it

use a half box around it and some rubber /foam seal and skore into the wall

this will give you a wall seal pipe seal will be the rubber or foam seal and silicone the front edge of the metal

what about the 2 waste pipes into the hopper from the bathroom?
bit of a job as I had to add extra joists with hangers and noggins to pull it all together but it will be worth it in the end!
even the cr port is looking better already I think

if you use the same method bridging over 2 uprights with an l plate up your wall

just a silicone seal would be enough

just remember to cap the end as no water wants to get in it on either end

oh so the soil pipes need to be boxed in up to the soffit?
and the waste pipes to above where they exit the wall?

fit your roof sheet like this

wall purple
black roof profile
orange is your soil pipe
red is your tin L plate if you cant buy internal buy external and fold yourself other way
then black lead reamed into the wall creates the seal down your house



you could use tin or lead to cap the end if you dont have the foam seals for the roof
