How best to re-roof this

I also got some sexy hall clips today too. Save messing with lead wedges

makes no difference with the roof part

fit it the same way you need support under the sheet rear and also front to get a straight silicone seal

the front edge you will be bolting it down along the L plate edge

you will have to trim the L edge into a half round front side and then at the rear

the rear edge needs to go down first the front edg goes over it as its sloping towards the back

remember the plate is only a cover over for that chamber as you want no water getting inbetween or into it

erm i have to do it many a time so i can assure you its hard to do but it can be done

use a grinder most of the way then use a pointing chisel for behind the soil pipe

Roughneck Plugging Chisel

Made from hardened and tempered steel with hexagonal shank. Chamfered striking face. For removing mortar in between brick courses.

you will use the point more than the long blade of it all you need is a line like your grind mark

do the rear lead first slot the lead behind the pipe and then slot another piece over it

like ive said split the L into 2 and shape it around the soild stack illustrated below

the lower end must be longer to go behind the soil pipe silicone well behind it the higher end goes over it and silicone well again

The problem is there is a T section that enters the wall right where I will want to be with the lead and upright of the L trim.

you mean the tee connection is in the wall

only because it cemented around it on the collar



you still have to do it the same way to get a good seal on it you trim it where needed or you make the work to adjust it

or you adapt around it and seal in other places

would you cut the other 2 solvent weld pipes? then use push fit connection to re connect them

I am still waiting for the Trims and box gutter

still got 500+ screws to fire into the roof!

Stripping the paint off the window frame today and the heat from the gun cracked the glass.. so do i leave it... and use clear gorilla tape. Pick the beading.off and replace the pane like for like of replace the pane with a double glazed pane and silicon it.in.

I now have the trim and gutter so I set about butchering the box gutter.

2nd coat of bitchemen paint on the out side. Just need to figure out if I need to weld the 2 sections in situe or on the floor and lift it up. or just overlap and rivit it with sealant tape.
