How do you tell if its v1 or v2 and whats the difference?
That's a V1.How do you tell if its v1 or v2 and whats the difference?
Plus the clue that the v2 is twice the price and £30 more than Creality sell them for! That's a V1.
Can tell by the display/control box.
Just to prove I do print non-printer related things.

Letter for the door of the flat, in silk copper. An improvement on the felt tipped H on the letterbox flap.
You might need some more printer bits soon though
Looks like there's a bit of under-extrusion there.Filament quality...
I normally use Amazon supplied filament with brands like Sunlu etc. Once everything was set up it has produced entirely adequate prints, however my last batch from "Monkeypuzzle.co.uk" doesn't seem to amalgamate well. I printed a thin, small box for 8 AA batteries in a snap holder and when the batteries were put in, the base fell off! The split had strands of PLA which suggested that the temperature may have been low, so I printed off a couple of those mini planes from my other thread and they were only just OK. Some of the strands were separated from the main body.
I then printed a temperature tree which looked like 215C was the best I was going to get. Even that isn't wonderful.

Yes, just checked and it comes up at 1.7mm.Looks like there's a bit of under-extrusion there.
Have you tried measuring the filament diameter?
Ebay advert. Is that the pla they have on sale?
Maybe its old and needs drying out?
They have it for a sale on there site £9.50 with free postage.
They also say this. Might be worth contacting them?
This filament works with all 3D printers that we are aware of, including Bowden extruder systems. If you run in to problems, we promise we’ll give helpful advice, and refund you if we cannot resolve the problem.
Change the diameter setting in your slicing software, then try printing again.Yes, just checked and it comes up at 1.7mm.
I challenge anyone to watch a few mins of this Ender3 vid, & say that their attention is totally on the dialogue.
@ajlelectronics is the temperature tree from thingiverse?
