pmsl! there is a red and black banana lead terminal on the dash is that one of those smoke to electric converters? as for leaks there is a couple but it seams to be a black liquid is that just the smoke when its not running?

i have topped the clutch fluid up and what a difference i can no change gear as she doesn't stall if i put into gear with the handbrake on (useful for hill starts) after lunch and time to cool down a bit will do the transmission fluids then pop to post office to collect new head lights then she should pass the MOT on Friday (praying hard to the god of MOT testers)

Keep an eye on level in case you have a leak

You don't need to bag the clippings, just chuck them in the back & take to tip!

out riggers , bulkhead , spring hangers , rear cross member mostly . but it depends on how much you pay for it of course , if he wants top dollar then you want a good example , if you pay £200 expect to do loads of work any thing less than a load of work is a bonus .

have fitted the new lights ended up getting new holders as well and a creative sollution for holding the frount bezle back on. i have notices that one of the shock adsurbers is/ has been leaking oil is this going to cause me issuess tommorow on the MOT? am i better cleaning it off and hoping for the best or fessing up and getting the garage to change before the MOT and are they a easy to get hold of part

east enough to get mate, but if you give it a wipe it should be ok, remeber to wipe both so it dont stick out.

you will get replacements online i usualy use paddocks or craddocks both are much of a muchness.

it will fail on defective shocker . if it fails on it you normally have a week to fix it before you need a full retest . or that's how it used to be . but its defo a fail for a leaky shocker .

ive had more landrovers than i care to count and about 70% of those went for mots with minimum work to get them through almost all have had weeping shock that have been wiped just before there test and passed without any props....

oh and that was through several different garages, so i dont think its just luck.

but there is always a first time
