After a lot of googleing and talking to a few roller door outfits it appears to be made by Link controls, made a call and a really helpful guy pointed me at their website which has the wiring diagrams, he also recommended an installer that will wire it up so all good. I will wait until the power is all rigged up and give them a shout.
Not getting much many daylight hours to work on the inside of the cave so I purchased a load of those cheap led spots. I have rigged them up inside for temporary light and will relocate them around the yard at a later date. They are quite good but have noticed they interfere with the radio, is this normal or is one of them jukkered ?

Is this because the radio is plugged into the same circuit or is this some other oddball interference,is there a way around this? I know its only temporary but the same lights will go on the outside at a later date, I wont bother if its going to play havoc with the telly or radio.

if they're the normal cheap Chinese LED floodlights it's the transformers/led driver inside them, not enough capacitors and/or they're too small/cheap
could be just one of them is the culprit, or one is worse than the others... or they're all terrible
if you can plug the radio in on a different circuit it might help - if you have 3 phase power it from a different phase
(but no grantees it'll make any difference at all)

I was mooching about the paint suppliers looking for a tin of red oxide and I stumbled across this cladding paint ( never heard of it), its a bit dear at £100 a gallon but if its just a case of slapping it on I suppose its cheap 
. Its oil based and the cladding only needs to be clean, I will try a test piece of about a square meter with the anti condensation dust added and see how it performs.

The SIP welder is a good bit of kit. Unlike a lot of SIP stuff, those were solidly made for commercial work and just keep running. I have the 240 sized model, well built and the rollers etc are industrial quality.
I don't know who made them for SIP but you won't get quality like that again from them

If I recall correctly all my sealed LED floods inside my man cupboard are set up into switched 2 gang 13 amp double sockets running from a 5 amp fused ring off the consumer unit & 1 amp fuses in each lights plug . .. done to enable a quick replacement should one go faulty . It was also done to isolate any possible mains borne interference that may arise .
Have you tried your radio without the lights on ?

The @The_Yellow_Ardvark `s jammy purchase fairy got caught in a cross wind and landed here today. Enough steel to build phase two of the mancaves roofed in but open sided section.Was not going to do this for another year or two but for £900 I had to have it, Got the lot for scrap money, would of been 8k + if purchased from a stockholder

After a long delay caused by life I am making time to crack on with the mancave extension, its been loaded to the roof with work and yard related junk so with some help ( six labourers) I have turfed it all out. Managed to get the screed down in the store section and the concrete laid in the fab shop bit. Toy section gets screeded next week, can then put up the ply and insulation.
Picked up a Farm 2000 which will heat the whole place including the offices and containers, should help to keep the condensation out.
And bought a few of these Reventon 22kw heaters which circulate the air, again should help to keep condensation at bay.

I've got a couple of those in my workshop fed from a pellet boiler with heat store. Goes from a few degrees to toasty in no time when working in there and keeps condensation off the big lumps of iron when I'm not.

If you have one put the lights on one of the computer mains surge filter block of plugs and see if the problem remains ..or if they are already wired in try plugging the radio & /or TV into one , if it is mains borne interference it may reduce it .
You can buy what is known as a Roxborough filter as well for places like RS on line they give a really good clean 50 cycles at 240 volts .

Just been reading the manual for those Reventon heaters, the look ideal for a workshop even more so if you have a cheap source of fuel. They aren't that expensive either.
They would be ideal for someone with a garage integral/joined to their house as it would be easy to tap into the heating system.
From the manual it looks like the fan speed is variable and can be used for cooling too.

I liked the idea of not having a flame in the workshop, pilot lights and leccy heaters always worry me when using solvents like carb cleaner or messing with petrol engines.
I marked up this item to watch and within a few days recieved an off to buy at £150 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143497752546?ViewItem=&item=143497752546 Low feedback and German so only bought the one, when it actually turned up ordered the others.
