Try mixing PVA with some of the sawdust that you have swept up for a homebrew filler to fill gaps & screw holes, easy to sand after & blends in well.

Hi, Yes, but don't mix it up or apply it with metal tools use wooden ones like lolly sticks, metal ones turn it black, it doesn't matter if you're painting it but does if varnishing.

Toy shed
Although I think it's intended as an area to work on smaller vehicles in the dry so to speak. It's where I was at least able to shove the front half of my 110 in there to do the first engine swap.

Yep a toy shed, soon to be filled with much sillyness that's currently in storage
Its a do or die year John, made a decision to get everything sorted this year and spend a lot less time at work. As soon as the mancave extension is finished there will be another 130`x30`workshop going alongside for the tractors and plant, nothing fancy just a roofed in open sided barn. Across the other side of the yard is for the trucks six poster and associated clutter, thats nearly complete. Its coming on well and I am looking forward getting everything work or play related separated out, the work stuff has had the toys on a backburner for too long hence the designated space.Bob

Been starved of material with all this lockdown malarkey, just managed to get another 50 pack of 18mm ply which should finish it. Then need to find some proper 2x2 sawn timber from somewhere, it all seems to be 47mm x something which means packing it out 3mm between the steel frames

Selco were doing this at about £20 with discounts Mr Chef but they are now charging £25, no discounts during lockdown apparently

Its on the Bay of Thieves for less but you would need to put a trailer on the back of Spacex to collect it and get home the same day.

Managed a bit more wood work over the weekend. Dug out the racking and gave it a quick wipe down with the Scothcbrite ,tipped some Dulux gloss in my cheapy Parkside spray gun and gave it the once over.

Good job!
John it was Dulux oil based gloss straight from the tin, I initially used two tins of some rubbish from Wickes which went nowhere, the pigment in the Dulux was much stronger and covered with a fraction of the paint.
