Try mixing PVA with some of the sawdust that you have swept up for a homebrew filler to fill gaps & screw holes, easy to sand after & blends in well.

looking good BOB cant wait to see the finished article although its never finished is it!Managed a bit more wood work over the weekend. Dug out the racking and gave it a quick wipe down with the Scothcbrite ,tipped some Dulux gloss in my cheapy Parkside spray gun and gave it the once over.

Good job! What ratio did you use paint>thinners [water?] to get that finish? Also, how many coats, just the one?
cant wait to see the pics of the barn build nextAt some point this year there is a big barn going along side that workshop, I will cut a door in the side of it ( @Beeezer ) and join that space to it.
