when you say edge ways on is that also onto the cut edge of the osb, or the under side?

i was thinking that the other day 20x20 2mm angle it would also protect the cut front edge

same as mdf they use formaldehyde in that too

How thick i have 18mm. Not keen on mdf the shelfs in my garage are mdf and the look terrible now all wavey and saggy

if you got plenty of osb spare, double it up with wood glue and use some battens on the front edge to stiffen it up

This evening I made a start on the worktop and shelf brackets. It is slowly shrinking.
