when you say edge ways on is that also onto the cut edge of the osb, or the under side?50 x 25 batten edge ways on at front and rear glued and nailed, screwed on eliminates bowing , even osb edge on as stiffeners helps ,without even ply will sag under its own weight given time ,

i was thinking that the other day 20x20 2mm angle it would also protect the cut front edgeBit of angle iron is a good stifner along shelf fronts
oh man dont go there it burns soooooo hot AND SOOOOOOO slow the bin was glowing red
same as mdf they use formaldehyde in that tooOSB is made using phenolic resins that contain large amounts of formaldehyde
intensely hot fire
How thick i have 18mm. Not keen on mdf the shelfs in my garage are mdf and the look terrible now all wavey and saggy
i should probably stop burning it then lolif you got plenty of osb spare, double it up with wood glue and use some battens on the front edge to stiffen it up
what you making with thatFunny old world , bought some 20x20 angle myself yesterday,
Chris
Another 4 weeks and you will be kicking yourself you never went back another 8 footThis evening I made a start on the worktop and shelf brackets. It is slowly shrinking.
