A bit crazy this if you ask me; taking out a bombproof original engine and put a lot of effort into a fragile lump as a rotary engine with a similar output.
But what a fantastic job it is.
Will try and talk to the owner if I see him.
I visited Cyprus Classic car museum in Limassol 3 years ago, some nice vehicles. It is the collection of veteran Cypriot rally driver Dimi Mavropoulo.
No suitable weather protection for Argyll. We get 3 types of weather here: about to rain, vertical rain and horizontal rain.....Thanks, Tom - some interesting stuff there.
I'venever seen display ramps like those under the Citroens before, very unusual.
Why didn't you buy that Landy?

Midges are a pleasant distraction, its the cleggs I hate (not sure if you call them that south of the wall, think sassenachs call them horse flies), never mind the ticks and we have mosquito's too. Just doing my bit for the Scottish Tourist BoardWhat you whining at, keeps the Midges at bay

We get quite a few where I live, though I once landed my boat in a beautiful sandy bay on the Island of Jura with a picnic, we got out sitting on the beach all ready for a nice lunch and then were swarmed with cleggs, once you have been bitten more than 5 times you decide its not worth staying. Suspect they are there for the deer, 6000 of them on Jura versus 200 human islanders. Nice Whisky though. We call them Cleggs round here. Kick like a horse. Thankfully you only tend to get them around where cattle and horses are kept

Current can be 5 to 6 knots, I was heading to Colonsay on my RIB and clocked myself at over 35 knots, with no current it would only do 29/30 knots. And a very good local shop the last time I was there. The ferry from Islay is amusing, it sets off at an angle to Jura's slipway to allow for. the current through the sound.
Have you been anywhere close to the whirlpool? Just looking down from the bridge outside Oban gives a flavour of what the currents are like.
