Alright, Alright.....I'm no car nor motorcycle enthusiast, but You Lot have driven me to this.

Was going thru this town, spotted this car, had to go around the block, find a parking space,
walk out there at 90f on the hot asphalt (and dodge traffic for the front shot) .

That's the little town of WaterFord, they have a town square that host's car shows all summer.

However there wasn't one last night, just some guys out at the local tavern. A couple of T-buckets
around the corner as well.

BTW one of the yearly shows at the square is British cars only......

AFAIK, postwar, the MG TC was the only Brit car exported to the USA with RHD everything else was LHD. Back then, you guys also got the A40 Dorset, which is the (nicer looking IMO) 2 door version.

Britain was bankrupt after WW2, so export was an absolute priority over the home market. Even some years later, my dad had to wait more than three months for delivery of a new Austin A35 van; and he didn't get to choose the colour.

Well, my dad's van was a sort of maroon red when it did turn up.

Didn't match any paint code, probably painted when cleaning out the paint gun......

I came across a Moke convention in the hills just outside Aberystwyth last Autumn. I couple of them were staying in the hotel that I was in, lots of stories about ownership and places they had been, just like Landie owners or bikers.
