I don’t know a lot to be fairYou clearly don't know me then..............
I don’t think I can get a grommet big enough. It’s 20mm thick where it goes through. I personally can’t see it being an issue. The cable is double insulated as well.
Well, you know more than me...........................I don’t know a lot to be fair
It's SY cable so has some abrasion protection.
I tried to find the steel I had but I can’t find it. I’d put money on it being bigger than what you have. Actually I have a way to check, give me a min@KimB , got any dimns for your bender, shaft sizes etc? I've made a start on mine...you did say 6x3 channel?

Yeah, 25mm silver steel.Cheers, 25mm shafts?
There are two bearings on the top. There’s no axial load on the gearbox.looks good - but where you only have one bearing on the bop and rely on the gearbox bearing for the other side - I'd put that bearing back in - will it fit on the inside instead of the outside?
take the stress off the gearbox bearing
How thick? All I really want to roll is 25mm2 box section, will 25mm dia shafts be man enough and do they have to be silver steel?
Need to get some shafts and 10mm plate. Think I can get some 1" dia stainless bar...
