yup, bit like a mig , so usefull , but there again most every one one here is a toolaholic to a certain extent .
I stay in Lanarkshire and would be happy to collect it and get it on a pallet for uOut of interest does anyone know of companies that would transport something as heavy an an anvil? There are a couple I’ve seen but the nearest is Lanarkshire, some 6 hours in the car for me. Longer in a rental van.
I have some smaller ones not sure if swapping would be of interestView attachment 304735
No mug for scale!
It’s too big. I’d rather sell it and get a smaller one from pressbrake
Pick one and make an offer and I can think about itThat's just not fair! ^^^
Glad I don’t have one of themI'll have the blond £50?
Very kind offer Fella. I found something a bit closer and cheaper for now.I stay in Lanarkshire and would be happy to collect it and get it on a pallet for u

Cos you're like the rest of us. This kind of picture is like a sweet shop to a kid.I am probably not alone in thinking this - why?!?!
Had a look at it last night. Better than I thought after a quick rub with a belt sander. 3 areas of note, wear at the back (no issue to me), then a gouge in the middle which would be repaired but still leaves plenty of room in front where it's a lot flatter, and a chunk out of the bick which could also be repaired. The key thing is it's pretty flat between the bick and the gouge which is a large enough area for me to bash tin on.

Ok no worries. ExcellentVery kind offer Fella. I found something a bit closer and cheaper for now.
Yeah it probably be easier putting it in the car where about ar u from. Am form Lanarkshire yeah it’s a large Peter Wright very clean but still heavy. Av still to get it on the scalesAnd a good number of vices too!
Thanks for the offer, I will have a think. Its the pallet both ways that will kill it for me! I have to go down your way towards the end of the year so if you are up for something then I will most likely be interested. That big one in the second pic is very clean. Like new!

Orkney. You can sent stuff round the U.K. for sub £100. Try and get it to highlands or islands and it doubles. On a good day.Yeah it probably be easier putting it in the car where about ar u from.
