The rest is all by me and made from scratch from bare sheet, tube and the bare cores

I used to be very handy with the 3G on 7016’s. Held codings for it for years and used to do it all day on site. Not been in that game for 5 years now and boy does it show.

Have you tried practising with filler yet Ian. It’s the best way to learn mate.
Tig welding is 90% of the time a 2 handed process. When I have people round for a tuition session no matter what there skill level is we start straight away with filler.

Depends mate. Sometimes it’s pretty harmless to use the arc to blend out weld toes and other times it’s disastrous
In your case there it’s completely harmless.
Keep practicing mate and put up your pics before you wash them out so it makes it easier to spot things and pass on some pointers.
