Floating production storage, and offloading. Basically a tanker with an oil and gas processing plant on deck, that exports its oil by tanker when its full. Used for small oil fields or places too ep for legs

Vlcc very large crude carrier.....or a geet big tanker.

Here are some pics of my now modded Tig cart, when I made it last time I screwed the middle shelf so it could be moved, got sick of cutting them up a day after paint anyway got my new cooler after missing out on Richards tig set so I thought I'd compromise and add a CR1000 to my 202, moved the shelf and in she went. A good move with the new CK series 2 torch.

The CR1000 has a good quality pump and rad, pump has a fan mounted on the ass end of the motor, its works very well!

I've just finished my humble little trolly, built out of 25mm box section, some Galv' 1.2mm sheet (only thin sheet the scrappy had), some stainless mesh, and some inch thick rebar. Total material cost was about £25 including wheels & castors.

I re-used some old kitchen drawer runners and made some drawers out of the Galv sheet (poorly bent up using a feeble bender and a rubber mallet for adjustments)

Thanks guys. I only have one welder so I thought I'd use the bottom half for storage, I saw someone else's trolley that had some drawers in it and copied the idea. (although they had used a commercial set of drawers which look really nice, I went for the budget option of folding up my own out of the Galv sheet, riveting them together, slapping on a stub of rebar as a handle, and using re-claimed kitchen drawer runners.)

The top drawer was the last one made and is the better made of the 3, it opens easily whereas the bottom 2 are quite stiff due to being slightly too wide and binding in the drawer runners. Oh well, I will just put the commonly used stuff in the top drawer.

Thanks, no, but I did add a switch to my pedal (SSC) as the TA202 does not show max amps when the pedal is connected ** (not sure if other tigs are the same) so you need to unplug the pedal to set max current or review what you have set, a right pain in the ass, the switch I installed just removes the pot from the circuit so you can see whats what, or you can run the pedal as a switch, i.e just set the current required and weld, handy for me as I struggle to fire up in the past with a button on the torch and start a smooth weld, saying that I have only ever used a button/switch on the nasty OEM torch and it was hard to press and keep a steady hand. As your the guy for good advice I am interested, you use one? CK switch?

** also the 202 has an odd habit of changing the max/peak current, seems when you power on and off a few times it will often drop the AMPS back a little, after three or four power downs your 120A will now be 100A, I questioned TA about it but never chased it up, its no big deal but you need to keep an eye on it or you end up flat out on the pedal thinking why won't it pool up!

Mine shows the current set on the pedal or switch plugged in. Seems silly to have to unplug it to set the upper current limit.
I don't use my pedal a lot I'm more often than not welding off the bench so a switch on the torch grip is essential for me.

Agree about mine and the pedal, drove me mad but now I just flip the switch, don't know why Thermal Arc did that! Most of my Tig is all done on the bench, good point about the switch as never really crossed my mind IF I had to go out and about.

I don't find a pedal on DC useful either I prefer fixed set current on DC. I only ever use my pedal on AC or tig brazing.

Same here, I don't braze much the odd tiny job for a tool shop and plastic extruding company (bottles) other than that most of my suff is stainless. Alloy has drifted in more and more, few bike hangers and other bike bits and bobs. I enjoy the Tig so much I try and do whatever I can with it, it's a buitiful process and I try and try to get better so the more I do the more I practice, Mig plays a big role in my day to day, the yard and my workshop, bread and butter welding jobs.
